MEDIA COVERAGE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Payment Terms
• Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.
• A late fee of $10 per week applies to any overdue invoices.
• Unpaid invoices may be referred to a debt recovery service after reasonable attempts to contact the client.
• All fees must be paid in full before final media is delivered.

2. Booking & Deposits
• A deposit may be required to confirm the booking.
• Deposits are non-refundable but are deducted from the total fee.

3. Copyright & Usage Rights
• All photos and videos remain the copyright of Carla Segarra until full payment is received.
• Once payment is made, the client is granted a personal-use licence to post and share the media.
• If payment is overdue, all usage rights are suspended, and the client may not use, share, publish, or post the media until the invoice is paid in full.
• Commercial use (advertising, brand promotions, paid partnerships, etc.) requires written permission.

4. Delivery of Media
• Media will be delivered digitally via a download link (Google Drive, Dropbox, Pixieset, or similar).
• Delivery is considered complete once the download link is sent.
• Accessing the download link counts as confirmation of receipt.

5. Refund, Results & Cancellation Policy
• No refunds are provided once media has been delivered.
• Results of the fight do not affect payment. If the client loses, is unhappy with their performance, or does not like the outcome of the match, the fee still applies as the service (filming and/or photography) has been completed.
• Carla will still film or photograph the match as booked, regardless of the result.
• If the client cancels after booking, any deposit or confirmation fee is non-refundable.

6. Event Day Responsibility (BJJ comps & sports events)
• It is the client’s responsibility to notify Carla before their match or event.
• If the client fails to communicate or is unreachable, missed coverage will not be refunded.
• Fight times and schedules may change; the client agrees to keep Carla updated.

7. Editing & Turnaround
• Standard editing is included.
• Additional editing requests may incur extra fees.
• Turnaround time may vary depending on the event.

8. Conduct & Conditions
• Carla is not responsible for venue restrictions, referee decisions, lighting issues, or event delays.
• In rare cases of equipment failure or emergency, refunds or partial refunds may be considered.

9. Agreement
By submitting the booking form, the client confirms that they:
• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• Agree to all payment, copyright, delivery, and event-day policies.
• Understand that this constitutes a legally binding agreement.
